What data is extracted?
The AI extracts store name, address, phone, website, receipt number, date, time, cashier name, every line item (name, quantity, unit price, amount, category if shown), subtotal, discount, tax and tax rate, tip, grand total, currency, payment method, card last 4 digits, loyalty points, and any printed notes or promotions.
What is the difference between Markdown, CSV, and JSON output?
Markdown produces a structured, human-readable summary with sections for store info, an items table, and payment summary — ideal for notes, reports, or email. CSV produces three sections (receipt header, an items table, and totals) that open directly in Excel or Google Sheets. JSON produces a structured object with all fields — ideal for expense apps, databases, or APIs.
Can I download the extracted data?

What if some fields are missing from the receipt?
Fields that are not visible in the receipt are simply omitted from the output — the AI never fabricates data to fill missing fields.
